update

I am on leave today... Oh my, how I miss waking up late. I know some people who get up early even on weekends, but I'm sooo not one of them. It's such a cozy feeling staying in bed until 10am (that's not late ok). After that, I babysat the kids at home, OMG, penatnyaaaa... I burned all the calories I had from DoubleCheeseBurger.

For those men out there, women do keep scores. Men who think they got 10 points from ONE expensive gift, they got it wrong. This is how women keep score, gift 1 point, card 1 point, breakfast in bed 1 point, surprise message in our jacket pocket 1 point... Oh yea, don't forget we deduct marks too - so please be nice to your ladies so that you'll look good in our books.

BIM 2009 is coming up in October. So, do join me for half marathon. This time, I plan to train properly... Itupun see-lah if work is letting me out early (how to train when leave office at 7pm?). I think joining this is certainly a good motivation to get moving and keep an active lifestyle.

Anyway, congratulations to my 2240 housemate, R (ala GG pulak), on her engagement recently :) I'm expecting a save the date card early...

wedding frenzy

It's November and in a month time, it'll be month of weddings... In fact, next month my cousin is getting engaged...

I always thought people who walk into marriage are brave souls. I mean, the thought of willing to take HUGE step of uniting two lives together are hard (and not everybody can do it), and to commit to one another is just simply amazing! In Malaysia, it's even more.. Because there's a saying say you married a man/woman, then you married with the whole family.

I for one - love weddings (marriage itself just simply scary!)...

Or this bling as the wedding ring?

and OMG how about these elegant and beautiful vera wang wedding dresses?

and that final piece of Vera Wang Luxe Callalily is just so flowy...

okay.. gotta go back to real life now and start thinking of answers to give if I ever get "the question".. How about, "I'll wait until somebody can buy me one of vera wang dresses." I wonder if that'll be sufficient and they'll be scratching their head thinking who the hell is vera wang...

the coming 8-8-8

Advance congratulations to these upcoming bride & groom:-

The 08-08-08 weddings

Miss Jaja & Mr Said (rpi)

Miss Emmy & Mr Adzrul (smesh)

Miss Elleney & Mr Helime (smesh)

Emmy, Elleney and I used to be in this "5 pemalas" group when we were in 4 Alpha... Because our other classmates were so rajin and we on the other hand were so hmmmm pemalas, and emmy & elleney are the first to get married -the same day even!

elleney and I were many-many things... We used to be roomate when we were in form 3 and next door desk when were in form 5. We even had this secret letters (which I still keep until now) sent to each other with our thoughts, wishes and dreams. Hahahahah.. Biasalah tu teenagers ;) As usual high school is always full with drama, and to go through it all, you just need good friends to survive.

Anyway....
Wishing you couples wonderful years ahead!

** I want to order this super yummy carrot cheese cake for myself from deana. I think my new fav cake is carrot cake lah... Unfortunately minimum order is 2kg... I wish I can take that and eat this all by myself (sooooo not good uji)... So any takers who want to split order with me?

nothing

Nothing much is going on lately.

I was having discussion previously about the retirement age, 56 and now is 58! Gawd that's like 30 years from now. Even now driving to and from work can take me 3 HOURS (really-really terrible traffic) could make me crazy and super-moody! There goes my precious time- And I have to do that in like 30 more freakin years??? Pssst, I need a chauffeur to drive me around :(

Also, I was reading some blog talking about singles and free time. She mentioned other people always assume that her (single people) will have more time than married (with or without kids). I think that's sooo not true at all. Surely married people or parents would have more responsibility, but it doesn't mean that singles have free time all around... Don't you think we have stuff to do too? Like run to the bank, pay bills, do laundry (my all-time-housework), clean the house, send mom to org kawin/kenduri/shops, and sometimes babysit on weekend. So my point is.... singles have responsibilities too-just as the rest of the populations. Eheh... It's how you prioritize and manage your time that matters...

I just read nadiah's noor blog- and saw beautiful wedding photoshoot in hawaii.... very romantic oooo... August is really the wedding month. I've known like 3 couples getting married on 8.8.8 -two of them are miss jaja & emmy (who has been together with the guy since after high school). Also, two of my high school friends- erna & (we used to add ibu at the front) salmie are getting hitched this year too. So it's 2008, the wedding year.

Oooh, i've finally gotten a compact mp3 player for my run! Nothing fancy- 2GB storage to keep me high and running ;) Now, it's time to select some upbeat songs for my (hopefully) 3.5 hrs run!

Now, wishlist, wishlist, wishlist- an Iphone or blackberry (eksyen kan?), maybe new lens for camera, external flash for D70, ooooh can i include financial freedom too?

travel plan

I hope to travel this year, 2008. Pwease... Pwease... Pwetty pwease... With more friends leaving the single-tons group, this only mean less potential travel buddies. Which reminds me...

Congratulations on upcoming wedding of
Rozalinda & Wandy
2 February 2008

**Sorry I couldn't be there. Wishing you a lifelong happiness!

I guess I should advertise here. Heheh.

Looking for compatible travel buddies: I'm rigid and such a planner when it comes to travel, so I guess I'm looking for flexible people. I love sightseeing, shopping and also photo ops every 5 minutes, prefer someone similar. I do budget travel. I don't mind hours of walking. I prefer to start early mornings and not-so-late nights. I don't mind being the questions ask-er in travelling. I play the role of calm-one while traveling, so prefer someone who's cautious and calculative (to balance each other). I prefer small group of people.

So if anybody who think they're compatible. You know where to reach me!

Places in mind: Maybe somewhere that can be reached by super cheap AirAsia.

What's your 2008 travel plan?

Christmas Day

Went to Lana&Hellotz wedding last Saturday at Le Meridien Hotel. Lana looked sooo pretty with lace kebaya and the eu natural makeup.. I love going to weddings (only the people that I know). I love looking at the proud and happy parents face. The way the bride and groom look at each other. It shows how in love they are, how happy and excited they are to start their new life together as husband and wife. It's such a blessing to see two people in love finally be together. While other people are still struggling to find the other half, they already find theirs awwwh..... Okay, I'm a sucker for old-fashion romance,or, maybe I'm watching too much one tree hill :P

Me with the bride and groom....

Went to Simpang Mengayau in Kudat on Christmas Day. FYI, Simpang Mengayau is the the tip of borneo. It's such a beautiful place. Look at the beach and sand... Look sooo pure....

I just read the email about Ninie, hopefully everything will be okay...

Everybody, enjoy your last week of 2006!!!!
