Quote

"... from personal experience that when the people we love make choices, we don't always understand them. But we can go on loving them, just the same. It isn't a matter of comprehension. It's forgiveness."

ambivalent

You know what's worse than feeling strongly about something... that's feeling ambivalent...

from mw:

1: simultaneous and contradictory attitudes or feelings (as attraction and repulsion) toward an object, person, or action
2 a
: continual fluctuation (as between one thing and its opposite) b: uncertainty as to which approach to follow

it's like being in a limbo... You can't just feel something, and do the opposite thing. In the above case, if you're feeling ambivalent about something, how can you be consistent in your action?

The conclusion is.... If there's nothing on the table, just make attempt to put something there for yourself, rather than waiting...

Hi Uji, you're right....our life today is not a dress rehearsal, we only get to play one round....so live life with no excuses, love with no regrets.

And aim for the stars...
Best regards, you have a nice day, Lee.

hai hai Ujiez..saya tau macam mana ambivalence makes us be the way we can be. I agree it is worse than penyakit obsession. sometimes i can be ambivalent to a point that i dont know what i want at that particular time; (usually that leads to shopping mall) :) hehe. Its a conflict of the integration of the two sides of the brain or maybe a clash of interest between intuition and reason. I just wish there's a repairman to drill my head, poke inside the brain and ummm ... kasi betul the connection wire.

lee: yepp.. I think somehow we have to remind ourselves that everyday!

barb: tell me about it! it's insane... I wish I'm more of a heart person when I'm actually conflicted with my logical thinking and obsession with pro-and-con list. Tapi, while waiting for our head to be fixed, there's always shopping malls kan??
